CONTEST RULES:
All photos must be horizontal, all
vehicles must be before 1975.
All contest photo entries must be received by Wednesday, July 16, 2008.
Round one online voting
The 13 classic car photos with the most votes/dollars raised will be
featured in the Official 2009 Woodward Dream Cruise Calendar. Round one
voting goes until Thursday, July 31st, 2008 at 3 p.m. A portion of the
proceeds will go to the Oakland Press Empty Stocking Fund, Macomb Food
Program through the Macomb Daily or the Daily Tribunes Give a Christmas
Program to help needy families through the Holidays. You may vote as
often as you like i.e. $10 equals 10 votes.
Round two online voting
to determine the winner of the cover shot and 2nd and 3rd place photos
begins Friday, August 1, 2008 ending at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12,
2008. Each vote is $1. You may vote as often as you like. The photo with
most votes/dollars raised will be the Cover Shot of the 2009 Woodward
Dream Cruise Calendar.
Top three winners revealed on Sunday, August 17, 2008. The
winner's name will be published both online and in The Oakland Press and
Daily Tribune.
Your online vehicle entry provides you an opportunity to receive a Woodward Dream Cruise Prize Pack from The Oakland Press and the 1st place vote-getter will also be The
Oakland Press cover shot for the 2009 Official Woodward Dream Cruise
Calendar.
Must be 18 years and older to enter and win.
Vehicle must be in drivable condition and insured.
Vehicle model year must be before 1975.
All photo's must be horizontal.
No purchase necessary.
Only online voting will be accepted. No printed copies or facsimiles
will be accepted at our offices or any sponsor businesses.
Employees and family members of Journal Register Company and
participating businesses are not eligible to enter.
Winner must be willing to allow the use of name and photo for future
promotional purposes.
