Just as the automotive world is evolving, so, too is the Woodward Dream Cruise.
On Wednesday the cruise’s board announced MotorCity Casino Hotel has agreed to be the presenting sponsor of the Aug. 15 event.
As a result, the annual summer event will now be referred to as the Woodward Dream Cruise presented by MotorCity Casino Hotel.

Fans of the Woodward Dream Cruise will have a chance this year to take home a new souvenir — a CD of original tunes and covers of classic cruisin’ songs.
Titled “Drive On!” the CD will feature original music written and arranged by longtime Detroit performer, writer and producer RG Dempster.
