Family: Wife, Laurie; six children; 11 grandchildren.
High school: Riverview Community, class of 1963.
College: Was a reserve quarterback at the University of Missouri before
transferring to Northern Michigan University. He quarterbacked the Wildcats
to a 9-1 record in his only season, 1967. Carr graduated from NMU with a
bachelors degree in education in 1968 and a masters degree in educational
administration in 1970.
