The voice-over industry is one of those rare professional fields that has actually been growing in today's economic recession. Due to affordable home studio recording equipment and user-friendly editing software, getting started in voice-overs is easier today than it ever was. Voice-overs can be heard everywhere, from movie trailers to the adult cartoon "The Family Guy," radio talk shows to video game narrations, and PSAs to audiobook, and talent agencies are constantly looking for well-trained talent.
