You're invited to a six week series confronting the condemnation of homosexuality by traditional Christianity and other religions. The series begins next Tuesday, Sept. 15, 7:00-8:30 PM at Affirmation LGBT Community Center, 290 West 9 Mile Road , Ferndale . LGBT people and straight allies are welcome regardless their religious background. (Can't attend every week? Attend when you can.)
The primary presenter will be Rudy Serra. Rudy served on the 36th District Court and was the first openly gay judge on a Michigan court. Alicia Skillman, Executive Director of the Triangle Foundation and others will help facilitate. There will also be interaction and sharing of life journeys. Some of the topics include:
