Caring for someone with dementia or Alzheimer's Disease can be overwhelming and stressful. Staying positive is difficult when you deal with communication barriers, eating and bathing challenges and unusual behaviors. In this five part series, caregivers will learn how to adjust their communication skills to effectively communicate with those with dementia or Alzheimer's Disease. They will also develop skills for maintaining a positive approach, adapting to eating and bathing changes, as well as dealing with behavioral issues, including agitation, aggression, hallucinations, repetitive behaviors and wandering.
