The class will cover the ideas of physics from a non-specialist point of view. We will view two 30 minute lectures by Prof. Steven Pollock on DVD, each followed by 20 minutes for answering questions and discussion. Dick Chase, the study group leader, worked 27 years as a research physicist for Ford and has taught physics from community college to the graduate level.
Class meets Tuesdays, January 29 - April 16.
