Port Huron Hospital Childbirth Education (Series Week 1) Monday, January 7, 2013 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM This four-week series teaches general childbirth preparation including a variety of options available to the birthing family.
It is held on Tuesday's for four consecutive weeks. It will cover the birth process, labor preparation, birth videos, a tour of the Acheson Family Birth Place, pain management options including relaxation & breathing techniques, and early post partum care of mom and baby.
The best time to take it is in the 7th-8th month of pregnancy. Note: No December classes.
Registration is required. Medicaid is accepted. Please indicate if you are covered by this plan when you register. Your childbirth education is important to us. If you are unable to pay for this class please call us to register through our scholarship program.
