Formed in 1984, the Burns Park Players is an active community theater company with a commitment to family-oriented musical productions and to the support of the arts programs in the Ann Arbor Public Schools. Since 1992, the group has donated over $262,000 to a variety of district projects.
A speaker from the Burns Park Players will discuss the history of this unique multi-generational theater group and describe the production process. A small group of performers from the cast of their upcoming musical, "Anything Goes," will treat listeners to some Cole Porter gems.
This is the third of six lectures in the Thursday series, "Generations: Bridging the Divide."
