Join us for the February scholar series featuring author and Detroit native Grace Lee Boggs as she discusses her book "The Next American Revolution: Sustainable Activism for the Twentieth Century." Boggs, a legendary figure in the struggle for justice in America, assesses the current political, economical, and environmental crises, especially in devastated urban communities. Boggs has participated in all of the 20th century's major social movements, and draws on 70 years of experience to redefine "revolution" as a means to create alternative modes of work, politics and human interaction for our times.
